On Monday, February 7th, the San Francisco Chronicle ran an article on Adult Day Health Care (ADHC). ADHCs have been proposed for total elimination in Governor Brown’s 2011-2012 budget. The article outlined the value of ADHCs for elderly Californians, described the types of services that are offered, and noted the opinion of multiple organizations that the elimination of ADHC will cost the state more money than it would save.
