Sunday, October 9th marked the final day for Governor Brown to sign or veto any bills passed out of the Legislature this year. Among the hundreds of bills to cross his desk were 11 priority bills for the Alzheimer’s Association. Of those, Governor Brown signed ten into law and vetoed one.
In addition to these 11 bills, there are another 16 priority bills that did not reach the Governor’s desk this legislative session. Discussion of these 16 bills will resume at the beginning of the next legislative session, scheduled for early January, 2012.
