Hearings Scheduled to Begin Review of Governor’s Budget Proposals

The Legislature has begun scheduling committee hearings to consider the impacts of Governor Brown’s budget proposals for the upcoming year.  These hearings offer advocates and concerned citizens the opportunity to voice their concerns to elected officials.

Below is the full list of hearings scheduled for February and March:

Assembly:

  • Wednesday, February 29 – Budget Sub. 1: Health & Human Services
    1:30 p.m., Room 126
  • Wednesday, March 7 – Joint Oversight Hearing on Long-Term Care Integration and Medi-Cal Managed Care
    1:30 p.m., Room 444
  • Monday, March 19 – Budget Sub. 1: Health & Human Services
    4 p.m., Room 127
  • Wednesday, March 21 – Budget Sub. 1: Health & Human Services
    1:30 p.m., Room 444
  • Monday, March 26 – Budget Sub. 1: Health & Human Services
    4 p.m., Room 127

Senate:

  • Thursday, February 23 – Budget & Fiscal Review
    9:30 a.m., Room 4203
  • Thursday, March 8 – Budget Sub. 3: Health & Human Services
    9:30 a.m., Room 4203
  • Thursday, April 12 – Budget Sub. 3: Health & Human Services
