Advocacy Events

The California Council organizes an annual Sacramento Advocacy Day every spring and other Alzheimer’s Action Days as needed during the legislative session, which is January-August every year. These events provide volunteers with training on high priority state policy and budget issues and an opportunity to meet with legislators and their staff.

Our 2013 Sacramento Advocacy Day took place on Wednesday, March 6th, 2013. If you are unfamiliar with this annual event, you can read here about this event.

SAVE THE DATE for the Alzheimer’s Association Advocacy Forum in Washington, D.C. This annual event will take place April 22-24, 2013. Click here to read more about this year’s Forum.
